About
James
 James
Jarvis is a
master astrologer, transpersonal counselor and LifeQwest™
coach. A professional astrologer since 1985, James received his M.A. in
Transpersonal Counseling and a Certificate in Integrative Education from John F. Kennedy University in 1986.
With
a degree in Transpersonal Psychology, over thirty-five years experience
with metaphysical and eastern spiritual traditions, and 20+ years
experience coaching and empowering clients to actualize their full
potential, he brings a balanced psychological and spiritual perspective
and solid counseling skills to his work.
A student of Eastern spirituality since 1971, James is a regular
meditator with a strong commitment to his spiritual path. For over
thirty-five years his primary interest has been the
comparison,
synthesis and integration of various eastern and western models of
growth into his work including astrology, enneagram, Jungian
psychology, Michael Teachings, Meyers-Briggs Typology Indicator,
non-duality teachings, numerology, Psychosynthesis, Sufism, transpersonal
psychology, Vedic astrology and yogic philosophy.
An accomplished
multi-instrumentalist and singer, James has been focused since 1992 on
inspiring and uplifting others through writing, recording and
performing inspirational music. James' self-produced CD, "Signs
of Grace,"
was released in 2004 and features his passionate, powerful and
soulful vocals, accompanied by full back-up band. He is currently
composing new material for an upcoming CD of devotional chant
music.
In addition to his international Vedic & Western astrological
practice and LifeQwest™ Coaching business, James is the author of “StarWatch",
a monthly astrological column, featured in “Conscious Choice” in Seattle, WA. James is a Leo with a Taurus moon and Cancer rising
and currently resides on the central coast of California, USA.
