About James

James Jarvis, M.A. is a Career & Small Business Coach, Vocational Astrologer and Transpersonal Counselor. James holds an undergraduate degree in Music Composition, an M.A. in Transpersonal Counseling and Certificate in Integrative Education from J.F.K. University plus coach training through Coaches Training Institute & Career Coach Institute. With a degree in Transpersonal Psychology and 25 + years experience coaching, teaching and empowering clients to actualize their full potential, James brings a broad perspective and solid counseling skills to all of his work.

Since 1992 James has lectured, performed and taught classes and workshops up and down the West Coast on different aspects of psychological and spiritual development including awakening intuition, energy work,  meditation & guided imagery and the Yogic Tradition of India including Vedic Astrology and Ayurveda. A multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer, James has released two CD’s of inspirational music and has performed at a variety of churches and venues throughout the Western states.

James’ articles and columns have appeared in magazines published on the West Coast and online including S.F.’s “Common Ground Magazine”, Seattle’s “The New Times”, Portland’s “Transformation Times”, and L.A.’s “Whole Life Times.”  He is also the author of two published books, “Transformational Astrology” and “Inner Planets, Outer Guidance.”
